Coleman's Crystal Lake Bar
About This Spot
Step inside Coleman's Crystal Lake Bar and you're greeted by a warm, unpretentious space where familiarity fills the air like a well-loved song. This is a spot where the hum of conversation blends with the clinking of glasses and the steady rhythm of a neighborhood gathering that’s both lively and inviting. The pace here is easygoing—welcoming both regulars who know their favorite seat and newcomers looking to settle into the local scene.
The atmosphere carries the comfortable grit of a classic bar & grill, where worn booths and a modest layout create a backdrop for genuine connections. It’s the kind of place where bartenders remember names and weekends are marked by simple yet satisfying rituals. The menu quietly hints at local tradition, especially on Fridays when the fish fry becomes a communal event, drawing in those who crave fresh lake catches paired with crispy sides that feel like home on a plate.

There’s a hum of animated conversation, a friendly nod between strangers, and the easy laughter of people who appreciate the comfort of a well-poured drink and a meal that stirs memories without fuss. Whether you're lingering over a plate of fried lake perch or enjoying a conversation with friends who quickly become family, this is a place where everyday moments find their place to shine.

We were in the area after visiting the Trading Post, we noticed the sign for fish fry on Fridays, stopped in around 1pm and was warmly greeted by the bartender, a lot of regulars were inside but she did not ignore us and took our drink and then our fish order. Food came quickly and was delicious! I had the fish tacos. We really felt welcomed and we were satisfied with the whole experience.

Definitely an underrated spot for fish fry and surprisingly good wings! They definitely cater to locals/regulars, but the staff is very friendly and are quick. The restaurant itself is a bit rundown and can get very loud and packed, but if you're fine with the noise, the heavy pours and delicious dinner makes it worth it!

Lovely local pub with excellent food and vibe. The lady running the bar and table service was attentive and clearly beloved by the regulars.
